🔘 BMS Reset Switch
In most cases, the BMS will reset when a battery charger is connected. If it does not reset, the built-in BMS reset switch can help wake the battery after excessive discharge or overload.
How to Use the BMS Reset Switch

❓ What Happens If the 150A Discharge Rating Is Exceeded?
The Thumper Lithium battery is protected internally by a Battery Management System.
For example, if a 2000W inverter draws approximately 166A, the TLS-150 will allow operation up to approximately 1800W / 150A. If the load exceeds the discharge rating, the BMS will disconnect and stop providing power to protect the battery.
Once the excessive load is removed, the BMS will normally reconnect within a few seconds and the battery will be ready to use again.

Voltage alone is not the most accurate way to monitor lithium battery state of charge, but it can provide a rough indication.

The TLS-150 can be charged from a compatible portable solar setup where the solar regulator supports lithium or AGM battery charging profiles.
The battery should not be connected directly to an unregulated solar panel, as the internal BMS will disconnect any charge input that exceeds 15V.
